01. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling an appointment, receiving services, or using the website of The Cutting Studio Salon, you agree to abide by the policies, guidelines, and terms outlined below. These terms are designed to guarantee punctual, safe, and world-class service for all our clients.

02. Appointments & Bookings

• Advance Reservations: We strongly encourage booking appointments in advance to secure your desired stylist and time slot. Walk-ins are accommodated based on chair availability.
• Booking Confirmation: An appointment submitted online is a reservation request and is confirmed upon review or direct confirmation by our salon desk.
• Punctuality: Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow for a relaxed consultation.

Your hair and skin health is our highest priority:

• Disclosure of History: Clients must inform our stylists of any previous chemical treatments (box dye, henna, straightening, bleaching) and known allergies or scalp sensitivities prior to treatment.
• Patch Tests: For certain hair color and technical chemical treatments, a 24-hour patch test may be required for first-time clients.
• Stylist Discretion: If a stylist evaluates that a requested chemical service would severely compromise hair integrity, we reserve the right to recommend restorative alternatives or decline the service.

05. Pricing & Payment

• Currency & Variations: All published rates are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Starting prices are baseline estimates; final pricing for coloring, treatments, and styling may vary depending on hair length, density, and product quantity.
• Payment Methods: We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and approved digital transfer methods upon completion of service.

06. Satisfaction Guarantee & Adjustments

We strive for perfection in every cut, color, and treatment. If you feel your result requires a minor adjustment, please contact us within 48 to 72 hours of your appointment. We will gladly schedule a complimentary consultation and adjustment with your stylist. Due to the artistic and time-intensive nature of salon services, monetary refunds are not provided.

07. Personal Belongings & Salon Conduct

While we take every precaution, the salon cannot assume liability for the loss of or damage to personal items or clothing during color treatments. We provide protective capes and robes during all chemical and washing services. We maintain a respectful, welcoming atmosphere and reserve the right to refuse service to any individual engaging in inappropriate conduct.

08. Governing Law

These terms and any disputes arising out of or related to our salon services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
